Temporary COVID-19 Screening for Amata’s Working Community

On May 12, 2021, Amata Corporation Executive Director and Chief Marketing Officer Viboon Kromadit welcomed Minister of Labor Suchart Chomklin to oversee the opening of a proactive testing service to screen for COVID-19 within the working community of Amata City Chonburi.

The center, a collaborative initiative of the Ministry of Labor, Social Security Office, Industrial Estate Authority of Thailand (IEAT), Amata Corporation PCL and Vibharam Amata Hospital, provided two consecutive days of screening at the Amata Service Center car park.

More than 900 people from 48 companies registered for proactive testing to help reduce the spread of COVID-19.

In addition, the Minister of Labor and representatives of participating partners presented PPE kits, sanitary masks, hand sanitizer, snacks, drinking water and other items to the medical personnel to help boost their morale. All products were kindly donated by Amata’s residents and tenants for this specific activity.

 

Donations

Donation of essential goods is vital to maintaining operations of hospitals, field hospitals and special operations designed to prevent and control the spread of COVID-19. Amata is committed to providing continuing support to these organizations.

On May 11, 2021, Amata City Rayong donated drinking water and face masks to the Center for Monitoring and Coordinating Operations for the Prevention and Control of the Spread of Coronavirus 2019 in Rayong Province to support working teams and front-line staff.  Athaya Nuanuthai, Director of the Rayong Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Office at Rayong City Hall, received the items.

On April 30, 2021, Amata City Rayong delivered drinking water, face masks, face shields and hand sanitizer to Pluak Daeng district hospital and Nikhom Phatthana district hospital in Rayong province, to support their day-to-day operations.

On April 29, 2021, Amata provided 600 bottles of drinking water to the Fourth Chonburi Hospital and Sanam Ket Field Hospital at National Sports University, Chonburi Campus. The 235-bed field hospital was set up for observation and treatment of COVID-19 patients.
