Scope of Work:
The Project Management Manager will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and successful delivery of projects within the company’s utility business, including water, power, renewable energy, waste management, and energy management. The role requires a strategic mindset, strong leadership, and expertise in both engineering and business management to ensure projects align with corporate objectives and industry best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee end-to-end project management, from feasibility assessment, planning, and execution, to completion, ensuring projects meet scope, budget, and timeline objectives.
- Develop and implement project management strategies that align with business goals and drive operational excellence.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, finance, regulatory, and operations, to ensure smooth project execution.
- Assess and manage project risks, including regulatory compliance, financial constraints, and operational challenges, while implementing mitigation strategies.
- Lead stakeholder engagement efforts, including collaboration with government agencies, investors, and key industry players to facilitate project approvals and partnerships.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging best practices in project management methodologies and technology.
- Monitor project KPIs, report progress to senior management, and implement corrective actions as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or related fields) is required.
- Master’s degree (MBA or equivalent) is preferred, with a strong understanding of business strategy, finance, and operations.
- At least 5 years of experience in project management within the utility, energy, or infrastructure sectors, with a proven track record of delivering successful projects.
- Strong business acumen, with knowledge of project development, contract negotiation, and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work in a multidisciplinary and multicultural environment.
- Problem-solving and analytical thinking, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in English (both written and spoken) is required.
