Cleanergy ABP Company and Amata Facility Services Company on September 29, 2022, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on establishing a strategic partnership to promote clean and renewable energy for manufacturers Amata City industrial estates.

Cleanergy ABP Company Limited (Cleanergy ABP), by Mr. Aphichet Nuitoom, Chief Executive Officer Cleanergy ABP signed a MOU with Amata Facility Services Company Limited (AFS), led by Mr. Aukkares Choochouy, Managing Director AFS, at Amata City Chonburi Service Center to produce and distribute solar rooftop electricity to industrial customers at Amata City Chonburi and Amata City Rayong industrial estates to support the usage of clean energy in Thailand’s industrial sector. The collaboration also aims to support the transformation towards net-zero carbon targets as laid out the sustainability framework of both organizations.
Cleanergy ABP Company Limited is a joint venture between Amata B.Grimm Power Company Limited and SCG Cleanergy Company Limited. The company is engaged in the production and distribution of solar rooftop electricity with efficient technology and innovation. The joint-venture was established to promote renewable energy for industrial tenants at Amata’s industrial estates in Thailand.
Amata Facility Services Company Limited is a fully owned subsidiary by Amata Corporation Public Company taking care of common areas at the industrial estates, including safety and security, maintenance and uphold, waste management etc. The company also provides facility management services to customers, environmental consulting, and fire safety training.
Amata industrial estates in Thailand are home to over 1,100 factories and tenants in all sorts of light industry, from automotive to parts manufacturers, food and beverage, consumer goods, electrical and electronics industry and chemicals and healthcare etc. Customers include large multinationals, medium and smaller sized companies from 29 nationalities.
Amata City Chonburi industrial estates is the country’s largest industrial estate covering an area of 43 square kilometers.
Since 2017, Amata Group has included a sustainability framework in its business plan following the United Nations Sustainability Development Goals (UNSDGs). The company targets to achieve carbon-neutrality within 2030.
