In a first session of Amata's town hall meetings this year, Amata conducted a Japanese-language webinar. Mr. Chanin Khaochan, Deputy Secretary General, Thailand Board of Investment, Ms. Kanakporn Chotipal, Director of BOI Office in Tokyo and Minister (Economic and Investment) of the Royal Thai Embassy to Japan, delivered opening remarks.
In the second session, the webinar was conducted in Thai with simultaneous translation in English and Chinese, Mrs. Sonklin Ploymee, Deputy Secretary General, Thailand Board of Investment gave a welcome speech and presented a new Human Resources Development Platform for Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) One-Stop Service. Further, the BOI gave an update and explanations on current investment schemes.
In the second half, Amata provided information regarding operations, introduced new services and this years CSR key agenda. A highlight was the introduction of Hotel Nikko Amata City Chonburi, scheduled to open in April.
Both online meetings were chaired by Mr. Viboon Kromadit, Director and Chief Marketing Officer.
Amata has the plan to invite customers each quarter to such town hall meetings presented in a similar format.
