Ducati Thailand Inaugurates Second Production Facility in Thailand

Ducati, the esteemed Italian motorcycle manufacturer, has inaugurated its second production facility in Thailand, signaling a commitment to doubling production capacity and solidifying Thailand's role as a vital hub for the Asia-Australia market. Situated within the AMATA City Industrial Estate in Rayong Province, the new 96,288sqm factory further cements Ducati's position as a key player in the region's motorcycle industry.

Thailand has been chosen as Ducati's second home since 2011, with BOI's support instrumental in facilitating Ducati's expansion, making it Ducati's sole factory outside of Italy.

The auspicious inauguration was graced by Mr. Claudio Domenicali, CEO of Ducati Motor Holding, alongside key executives such as Mr. Marco Biondi, Vice President of Sales & Marketing, Asia Pacific Ducati Corporation, and Mr. Alberto Strada, Managing Director of Ducati Motor (Thailand).

Distinguished guests, including Mr. Danainat Chockamnuay, Advisor to the Minister of Industry, Mr. Wanchai Panomchai, Secretary General of the Thai Industrial Standards Agency, Mr. Paolo Dionisi, Ambassador of the Republic of Italy to Thailand and Mr. Narit Thoetsathirasak, the Secretary General of the Board of Investment (BOI) graced the ceremony.
