Triumph Breaks Ground on New Motorcycle Plant at AMATA City Chonburi

On the morning of Thursday, February 1, 2024, Triumph Motorcycles (Thailand) Limited held the groundbreaking ceremony for their new motorcycle assembly plant (Plant 4) in AMATA City Chonburi Industrial Estate. The ceremony was presided over by Chief Executive Officer of Triumph Motorcycles Limited, Mr. Nick Bloor.

On this auspicious occasion, Mr. Osamu Sudo, Acting Chief Marketing Officer of AMATA Corporation Public Company, and Mr. Aukkares Choochuoy, Managing Director of AMATA Facility Services Company, represented AMATA and participated in the ceremony activities.

It's been a success story for Triumph Motorcycles in Thailand, and AMATA has proudly witnessed the continuous growth of the business.

Founded in 1884 by Siegfried Bettmann in Coventry, Triumph has a rich history as a British motorcycle manufacturer. The company's first motorcycle model, Triumph 1, marked the beginning of its legacy, and Triumph has since established itself as a leader in the premium motorcycle market, particularly among European and American brands in Thailand.

Triumph operates seven state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities globally, including one in Hinckley, Leicestershire, United Kingdom. In addition to the UK, Triumph has manufacturing plants in Brazil and India, with four facilities located in AMATA City Chonburi. The entire process of designing and constructing Triumph motorcycles adheres to the brand's global engineering standards, with each bike originating from the Hinckley facility.
