Jinko Solar Co., Ltd. Vietnam was awarded an Investment Registration Certificate for its latest project, a factory at Amata City Ha Long that will produce silicon wafers for solar panels.
The 20-hectare facility is the company’s second project in the Quang Yen Special Economic Zone, making Jinko Solar the largest investor in Quang Ninh province. In March 2021, Jinko announced its first project, a 31-hectare solar panel smart factory also at Amata City Ha Long. This was the first project at the new industrial estate.
Jinko Solar is investing a total of USD865.6. The company estimates annual production capacity of USD2.3 billion, while creating 4,000 new jobs.
