Tamagawa Seiki Co., Ltd. officially held the Grand Opening Ceremony for its new plant in Amata City Ha Long Industrial Park, covering an area of 6.27 hectares. The company specializes in manufacturing angle sensors for electric vehicle engines and drive components. With a total investment of USD 35.75 million, the factory is expected to reach an annual production capacity of 14.49 million items and create 1,000 jobs once fully operational.
Established in March 1938, Tamagawa Seiki, a member of the Tamagawa Seiki Group (Japan), has a long history of researching, manufacturing, and trading technology products for defense, aerospace, space industries, factory automation, and automobiles.
The new factory in Amata City Ha Long marks Tamagawa Seiki's seventh factory and will become one of the company’s four main global production centers.

The event was presided over by Mr. Yasuo Hagimoto, Chairman of Tamagawa Vietnam, and attended by Ms. Nguyen Huyen Anh, Deputy Director of Quang Ninh Economic Zone Authority (QEZA), and Mr. Le Manh Tuyen, Vice Chairman of Quang Yen Town, along with key stakeholders from Tamagawa Seiki and executives from Amata City Ha Long Industrial Park, led by Mr. Nguyen Van Nhan, General Director of Amata City Ha Long Joint Stock Company.
Currently, Amata City Ha Long has attracted 20 investment projects with a total value of nearly USD 3 billion, with a significant portion of these investments coming from Japanese companies.
