Posted on | Business News

In response to the call of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee, the Quang Yen Town Fatherland Front Committee held a ceremony to launch a fundraiser to combat the COVID-19 pandemic, with the aim of bringing many organizations, agencies, enterprises and individuals together to help respond to the global outbreak.

On June 14, 2021, Amata Group donated VND 500 million (approximately USD 28,000). Together with other benefactors, a total of over VND 2.32 billion (USD 100,000) in support was raised. The funds will be used to purchase medical supplies and other necessities for front line staff dealing with the pandemic.

This is just one of many significant activities Amata has undertaken in an effort to prevent the spread of coronavirus within communities and across the country. On 20 July, Amata Group VND will contribute an additional VND 500 million to the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee of Uong Bi city.

The total amount received from agencies, organizations and individuals will be spent supporting COVID-19 prevention, treating infected individuals and supporting the Vietnam COVID Vaccine Fund.
